For more than 15 years tag has been building, renovating and modifying homes for the elderly and people with disabilities. Our reputation for quality work delivered at an honest price led to recognition with organisations funded by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care, and health professionals such as occupational therapists (OT’s). Organisations we have worked with:
- Wesley Home Modification & Maintenance Service,
- Macarthur Home Modification Service,
- State Wide Home Modification Service,
- NSW Home Modification Service,
- Leichhardt Home Modification Service
- And a number of Independent Occupational Therapy Services.
Ashfield, Life Skills Centre
Restoration of an old church building, with a view to provide accessible bathrooms, office spaces, internal and external ramps to deliver an inviting wheelchair friendly environment where people with severe disabilities can meet and develop essential life skills. To do this the design incorporates the use of natural materials within, lovely sandstone gardens and greenery, and a respect for the structural heritage of high ceilings and external facades.
Bonnyrigg, Installation of Lift
In harmony with the existing design and style of the residence, the installation of a lift allows the owner to access all levels and areas of her home, without compromising living space. All care was taken to maintain safety and integrity of the original building.
The Northcott Society
Tag was pleased to donate a completed accessible bathroom and kitchen for display at the Independent Living Centre. Therapists are able to show clients with disabilities what the modifications will look like in their own homes.
This project had to be delivered within the budget and required a well-planned approach. Tag’s experience in accessible building allowed us to translate the architects design seamlessly. The scope involved the renovation of 10 townhouses into comfortable accessible homes and to deliver a functional and compliant centre for people with disabilities.
